Ahhh, lovely interweb meme… another one!
I got tagged last night (or was it this morning) by Mike, checking what my last 5 iTunes purchased had been.
So I won’t enter the DRM vs. no DRM debate that Mike opened in his post (although the new Amazon MP3 store looks pretty promising despite not corporate-proxy compatible) and will actually be a lazy geek boy and simply use one of the new features of iTunes: the “My iTunes” widget. I must admit I hadn’t found any use for it until now, so there you go, you can now see all the albums as well as all the individual songs I have recently purchased (minus the new Velvet Revolver, probably due to a bug in the interface not referencing pre-ordered albums).
So that’s it. Done. Dusted. I guess I now have to pass the puck and tag a couple of other people, ideally 5, but I am struggling finding 5 bloggers that haven’t been tagged by this meme yet.
So let’s aim at Perigil, Yoshi, Mister P and Brad…
And as stated in the original meme, if you don’t do the iTMS stuff, any other service will do!
Well, we might be far away from what we call home, and many of my friends often mention the lack of quality of the food over here, the fact that this place is full of fat people, etc…
Well, let me tell you one thing… Think again!
After Sarah had been shopping yesterday, I was lucky enough to indulge myself with a little French “degustation” platter last night made of fresh baguette, some French cheese (”President” Camembert, “President” Brie, “St-Augur” blue cheese, fresh goat cheese and hard spanish ewe cheese), all of this rinsed with a couple of glasses of a Cotes du Ventoux (Rhone).
It can’t get any better than this…Â
Well, I just can’t believe it but one of the headline news tonight in Los Angeles is that “The Rain is Coming”… It is actually currently raining in Malibu and we are tracking its progress live on TV. Should hit us around 9PM (80% chance)… Well, actually, IT IS RAINING!!!
Still… Rain… Headline…
Baffled!Â
PS: Well, I have been carrying my barbour jacket all day, just in case the rain makes it to Burbank by the time I leave the office… Seems that I might need itÂ
Well, while I am trying to find some time to post some news about our move to Toluca Lake and some more pictures of the new house, I just wanted to share with you the “Apple moment of the day”.
Many of you must have heard of the $200 iPhone price cut as a result, the $100 voucher offered to any person who has bought theirs before the price cut.
I have hence been patiently waiting for the instructions on how to redeem these $100 since the announcement last week and they finally came today. I jumped on the Apple web site, filled the form and voila (see picture)!
“Sorry sir, you are part of a large corporation and as such, you are not eligible for the $100 voucher”…
I agree the company bought my iPhone (for test purposes) but, boy was I hoping to be able to trick Apple and cash in… Better luck next time!
